I have noticed that the main problem facing the Ethical Fashion industry is a basic lack of awareness from consumers. 80% of a sample population would most likely not know what ethical fashion is, and the rest that might know, only a few percentage would be owning an ethically produced item of clothing. So I have come up with a possible solution ,that might increase people's knowledge of ethical fashions and make it easier for those who may want to purchase. I would like to build an application, both web and mobile, that would enable consumers to scan any desired item of clothing, and have ethical fashion designers produce the item for the customer at a set price. The application would host an array of ethical fashion designers who would also be ahowcasing their work and have interested customers buying. The major element of arousing interest and gaining awareness from the customers would be achieved by partnering with influencers, artists and bands inorder to produce ethical merchandise. This would be particularly useful in attracting millennials. This application would ultimately boost the number of ethical fashion designers, because of the available customer base and marketplace, and would also increase the number of ethical fashion wearers and advocates, thus taking a step forward, toward making the world a better place.
